Best smartphones under ₹10,000
Smartphones have become very necessary in our day-to-day
life now-a-days. There was a time when people just used them as a luxury
item or as an optional that brings entertainment but now it has become an
integral part of their life. They use it for mainly communication like connecting with others for reasons be it minor or major and entertainment which in this boring world has become a necessity for many people and most of the youth. Smartphones are available in many designs and too many prices range to choose from. Most people buy smartphones to fulfil their day-to-day use and less than that for gaming or creativity. Many people also buy smartphones with heavy specs but use only half or even less of what that thing is capable of. So how much should you spend on smartphones? Read my other blog ‘How much should you spend on smartphone’ to find out. Let’s go to the main subject for which you came here, best smartphones that are currently available under 10,000. Do keep in mind that I am not marketing any companies’ smartphones, what I am doing is genuinely shortening your choices down to three or four smartphones that you can choose from. If you want a longer list you can simply go to amazon or Flipkart you will find a lot of smartphones under the ₹10,000 category. Let’s begin.
Redmi 12 4G
Thickness: 8.17mm
Weight : 198.5g
GPU: Arm Mali-G52
WCDMA : 1/5/8
4G : LTE TDD 38/40/41 , LTE FDD 1/3/5/7/8/20/28
Wi-Fi : 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and 2.4GHz/5GHz
The front camera is a 8MP one.
The first in our small list is the vanilla Redmi 12 4G. It offers a beautiful crystal glass design that
is paired with a smooth 90Hz Full HD+ display. It is equipped with MediaTek Helio G88 whose AnTuTu scores
lie somewhere around 2,40,000 which indicates it can handle day to day task and casual gaming just fine. To
last all day long it has a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Unfortunately, it does not have
5G support as MediaTek Helio G88 does not come with a 5G modem, if that is not a deal breaker for you then
you can go for this beautiful piece. It has a hybrid sim slot which can also be used for storage card that
supports upto 1TB of external storage. Its price starts from ₹9,999.

Realme Narzo N53
Thickness: 7.49mm
Weight : 182g
GPU: Arm Mali-G57
WCDMA : 1/5/8
4G : LTE TDD 38/40/41 , LTE FDD 1/3/5/8
Wi-Fi : 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and 2.4G/5G
The front camera is a 8MP one.
When it comes to fast charging at a budget price no one beats Realme, you can expect the same thing
from Realme N53.While its competitors are giving 18W fast charging it is giving you a whooping 33W
charger that charges your 5000mAh battery in 1 to 1 ½ hour. Realme N53 comes with a glittery design
(as usual for Realme) that boasts an ultra slim design of only 7.49mm. Well, if you want a handy phone
or a phone that feels comfortable to hold, you can always rely on Realme on the other hand its competitor
Xiaomi makes beautiful classic design smartphones but they are slippery in hand due to glass design and its
lack of proper skeletal ergonomics. It has a Unisoc T612 processor whose AnTuTu scores are somewhere around
1,90,000 which won’t disappoint you in day-to-day normal usage. It comes in two colour options that is feather
gold and feather black. It comes with a dedicated 3 card slot which supports up to 2TB storage. Like Redmi
12 it has a 90Hz smooth IPS display that won’t dull your experience while consuming entertainment. Its price
starts from ₹8,999 which is pretty good considering its offerings.

Moto g14
Thickness: 7.99mm
Weight : 177g
GPU: Arm Mali-G57 750Hz
WCDMA/ 3G : 1/2/5/8
4G : LTE 1/2/3/5/7/8/20/28/38/40/41
Wi-Fi : 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and 2.4G/5G
The front camera is a 8MP one.
If you like a clean smartphone that does not have a lot of bloatware
(Xiaomi and Realme sweating in the corner) Moto g14 is a good smartphone to consider.
It has a big 6.5-inch FHD+ display which combined with stereo speakers that support
Dolby Atmos will give an immersive experience while watching entertainment. It has a
Unisoc T616 processor which is good for day-to-day task but not exactly recommended for
gaming. It offers UFS 2.2 which is rare to see in phones under 10,000. It has a 5000mAh
battery which is a step-down considering Moto used to make brick like smartphones having
much bigger battery back in those days but now people prefer slim things like slim phone
slim laptop, slim women well they just don’t have a taste for thick things now. The battery
is charged by a 20W brick charger which is better than some, who give you 22.5W
charger in box but supports only up to 18W.(Just f***ing give a 18W charger then, No). It
has a pretty neat square design. Its price starts around 9,999. Get the required credit
card and get it at a bit low price.

I have kept the list small for you to have an easy time while choosing things and all the above phones
I would recommend among all the devices that are available under 10,000.
None of the phones above that I have recommended are 5G supported which makes them …. well not future
proof. If you want a future proof smartphone then either wait for some time until competition brings
5G to that level or spend extra ₹2000 to ₹3000 which will give you a future proof smartphone with good
features that won’t hinder your day-to-day use.
